Abstract

In concluding my research, with God's help and guidance, and after a considerable period of study, I have carefully examined the Holy Quran and its commentaries, reflecting deeply upon them, as well as books of Hadith, dictionaries, and works on ethics, among others. This study has demonstrated the scholarly efforts of Sheikh Naraqi in the field of ethics, focusing on the virtues of morality derived from Quranic concepts and their crucial role in shaping the human soul. These virtues are not isolated from contemporary life; rather, they are inextricably linked to all aspects of a Muslim's daily conduct. This study sheds light on the Quranic concepts of moral education presented in the book Jami' al-Sa'adat, and affirms that the approach of the Holy Quran is distinguished by its comprehensiveness and completeness, encompassing all aspects of human life, from organizing one's life and refining the soul through moral education and the rectification of human behavior. This is achieved through Quranic insights related to intellectual and cognitive aspects, the foundation of psychological makeup and its inclinations, which aim for righteousness and virtue, leading to moderation and balance, ultimately resulting in true happiness in this life and the hereafter. Based on all that has been presented in this thesis (Quranic Concepts of Quranic Education in Sheikh Naraqi's Jami' al-Sa'adat), I can arrive at some conclusions in my research journey, and success comes from God. The most prominent of these is: 1- It has become clear that the Quranic concepts presented by Sheikh Naraqi in his book Jami' al-Sa'adat are based on sound intellectual, philosophical, and educational foundations that contribute to the growth and development of a balanced human personality. 2- The Quranic verses cited by Naraqi demonstrate that moral education is not limited to theoretical aspects alone, but rather relies on practical application in a person's daily life. 3- The study reveals the depth and precision of the approaches presented in his book, "Jami' al-Sa'adat," and in linking Quranic concepts to psychological, intellectual, and behavioral aspects, and subsequently analyzing them. 4- There is a cohesive and close connection between the topics of intellectual concepts and their relationship to moral education, and in shaping the educational framework, which produces and reflects the comprehensiveness of the methodology. 5- The Quranic concepts presented by Sheikh Naraqi achieve flexibility and are distinguished by their ability to meet the demands of contemporary human life and keep pace with its development. 6- The fundamental axis in implementing moral values lies in refining the soul, and the reverse is also true, as explained by Sheikh Naraqi and found in the Quranic texts. 7- The study emphasized the importance of awareness-raising and Quranic exhortations in establishing moral values that are ingrained in a person's emotions and behaviors within society, transforming them into an active and positive member of the community. 8- One of the most prominent characteristics of moral education lies in the integration of cognitive and applied aspects of Quranic concepts, whether intellectual, psychological, or legal. 9- Weak intellectual, psychological, and legal understanding is a direct cause of deviance and a failure to purify the soul. 10- Sheikh Naraqi relied on an analytical, intellectual, and philosophical approach, supported by legal evidence from the Holy Quran and the Prophetic traditions. Recommendations can be made based on the study's findings, the most important of which are: 1- The importance of utilizing Quranic concepts in establishing and developing modern educational curricula. 2- Directing researchers' attention to the necessity of studying Quranic ethical concepts from a specialized, practical, and applied perspective within society. 3. Returning to and grounding the heritage of Muslim scholars, particularly the book "Jami' al-Sa'adat" (The Collection of Felicity), as a rich legacy, with all its dimensions and profound educational depth. 4. The necessity of integrating moral education, with all its Quranic concepts, into political curricula in a systematic and well-considered manner, starting from the early educational stages and progressing according to the child's cognitive and intellectual development, then through adolescence, and finally into youth and maturity, to ensure a comprehensive understanding of all educational and ethical content. This is essential for building generations according to the Quranic approach. 5. Strengthening and enhancing the important role of educational institutions in establishing and instilling educational and ethical values derived from Quranic concepts. 6. Advocating for the establishment of educationally designed programs based on positive development in purifying the soul in light of the Holy Quran. 7. Conducting comparative studies between the Quranic concepts of moral education and contemporary humanistic educational theories. 8. Employing Quranic methodologies and discourse to address moral and behavioral deviations through practical application. 9. Focusing on youth and adolescents by establishing seminars and supporting charitable organizations to train them and harness their potential for charitable work and humanitarian activities, instilling in them a powerful and effective faith that contributes to personal and societal development. 10. Emphasizing the promotion of intellectual, psychological, and legal awareness to cultivate virtuous human behavior and ethics through social media, the creation of purposeful content, and other diverse media platforms.
