| dc.description.abstract | تطرق الفصل الأول الى الحياة الاجتماعية للدكتور فاهم نعمه الياسري، وتضمن مبحثين، بيّن في المبحث الأول نسب السادة آل ياسر واسرته وحياتهم الاجتماعية والاقتصادية وما تركوا من مآثر باقية الى اليوم، كذلك تتبع دراسة شخصية سيد نعمه الياسري وحياته الاجتماعية، وهدف المبحث الثاني التركيز على ولادته ونشأته مع الأخذ بالحسبان التركيز على آل ادريس والسيد نعمه ادريس، فضلاً عن دراسته الابتدائية في بغداد ثم نقل الى مدرسة في مسقط رأسه، والثانوية ثم المرحلة الجامعية تليها دراسته العليا في جامعة بغداد كلية الآداب، بما فيها مرحلة البكالوريوس مروراً برسالة الماجستير وأطروحة الدكتوراه الخاصة به التي منحتها له جامعة القادسية كلية التربية. أما الفصل الثاني تناول سيرته الوظيفية والاجتماعية، وقسم على ثلاثة مباحث، تضمن المبحث الأول سيرته الوظيفية حتى عام 1996، وشمل محوران، المحور الأول حياة الياسري العسكرية، والمحور الثاني سيرته الوظيفية في وزارة التربية، إذ درّس في عدة مدارس ثانوية، ثم تتبع نشاطه العلمي في معهد إعداد المعلمين، ودرس المبحث الثاني سيرته الوظيفية في وزارة التعليم العالي خلال المدة (1996_ 2021)، اذ سلط الضوء على المناصب التي تولاّها الياسري وانجازات كل منصب واللجان التي شارك بها في مسيرته الوظيفية، فيما بين المبحث الثالث آراء معاصريه واسهاماته الاجتماعية. جاء الفصل الثالث بعنوان جهوده العلمية ومنهجه في كتابة التاريخ الحديث والمعاصر، وقسّم على ثلاثة مباحث، اختص المبحث الاول: منهجه في التدريس واشرافه على الرسائل والاطروحات، والمبحث الثاني: مؤلفاته وآثاره العلمية، والمبحث الثالث: بحوثه المنشورة وغير منشورة في المجلات العلمية، فضلاً عن المؤتمرات التي شارك فيها. | ar |
| dc.description.abstractenglish | Historical studies in Iraqi universities have witnessed significant attention in recent decades to documenting the experiences of professors and researchers who contributed to the development of historical research, establishing its methodologies, and training generations of scholars. Writing a scholarly biography is no longer limited to narrating events; it has become an analytical study that examines the scientific formation, research methodology, and the nature of academic contribution. In light of this, this study, entitled "Fahim Ni'mah Al-Yasiri: His Scientific Biography and Methodology in Writing Modern and Contemporary History," aims to document the academic and scientific path of one of the most prominent professors of modern and contemporary history at the University of Wasit. The thesis is composed of three chapters. The first chapter addresses Al-Yasiri's life and educational journey, comprising three sections: his lineage, family, and their political, social, and religious standing in the district of Al-Hayy, with a focus in this research on the Al-Idris family; his birth and upbringing; and his educational path beginning from the early stages, stemming from his passion for Iraqi history, and obtaining his Master's and Doctoral degrees. This chapter also addresses the general political context in which he grew up, starting from the establishment of the Iraqi state in 1921 and the inauguration of King Faisal I, along with the accompanying treaties with Britain, moving through the political events of the monarchical era—most notably the coup of Bakr Sidqi in 1936—then the transformations Iraq witnessed after the July 14, 1958 Revolution, up to the Ba'ath Party's rule in 1968 and the subsequent wars and political crises that ended with the regime's fall in 2003. These transformations contributed to shaping the political and intellectual environment in which Al-Yasiri grew up, reflected in his scientific formation and research orientations. Chapter Two covers his professional and social career, which included three sections: Section One detailed his professional career in the Ministry of Education until 1996, while Section Two was titled: His professional career in the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research until 2021. Section Three focused on the views of his contemporaries and his social contributions. This chapter examined the professional journey of Dr. Fahim Ni'mah Al-Yasiri since his graduation from the College of Arts/University of Baghdad in 1975. He began his life with military service after joining the Military College, graduating as a Second Lieutenant in 1976, and participated in several military duties. He was also called to service during the Iran-Iraq War (1980–1988), where he was wounded, before rising through the military ranks to Major. Concurrently, he worked in the Ministry of Education as a teacher of national studies at Al-Hayy Preparatory School for Boys in Wasit Governorate starting in 1978, excelling in his teaching competency. He then moved to the Teacher Training Institute in Kut. In 1997, his services were transferred to the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research/University of Al-Qadisiyah – College of Education, marking a new phase of his academic activity. He assumed several administrative and scientific positions in organizing academic work and participated in establishing the University of Wasit and developing its scientific and administrative activities. The chapter also presented the views of his contemporaries, colleagues, and students, who highlighted his scientific stature and his academic and human impact within the university community. Chapter Three addressed his scientific efforts and methodology in writing modern and contemporary history, comprising four sections: his authored works and scientific output; his published and unpublished research in refereed scientific journals; his participation in scientific conferences and seminars; as well as his supervision of university theses and dissertations. The study revealed that Al-Yasiri followed a scientific methodology based on analysis, criticism, and linking historical events to their political, economic, and social contexts, with a clear reliance on primary sources, historical documents, and foreign references. | en |
