| dc.description.abstract | تتناول هذه الدراسة الضوء على أهمية فحص الرسوم الكاريكاتيرية السياسية بوصفها أدوات قوية تُسهم في تشكيل التصور العام وكشف الفهم الأيديولوجي للصراع الإيراني–الإسرائيلي لعام 2025، إذ تؤكد قيمة المنهج التكاملي المعرفي–السيميائي في الكشف عن المعاني التي تتجاوز التفسيرات السطحية. وتُعد هذه الدراسة الأولى التي تتناول الرسوم الكاريكاتيرية التي تُصوِّر الصراع الإيراني–الإسرائيلي لعام 2025، كما أنها الأولى التي تطبّق المنهج المعرفي–السيميائي على هذا الصراع الجيوسياسي تحديدًا. وتهدف الدراسة إلى إبراز كيفية إسهام هذا المنهج في الكشف عن المعاني العميقة والمواقف الأيديولوجية التي تتضمنها الرسوم الكاريكاتيرية. إضافةً إلى ذلك، تتناول الدراسة التفاعل بين العناصر البصرية والمعرفية في الرسوم المختارة. كما تستكشف الطريقة التي تُنشئ بها هذه الرسوم تمثيلات معينة لعلاقات القوة، والفاعلين الرئيسيين، والأفعال، وكيف تُسهم في تشكيل تصورات الجمهور تجاه هذا الصراع. ولذلك، تم اعتماد التحليل النوعي في هذه الدراسة من خلال تحليل مجموعة مكوّنة من عشرة رسوم كاريكاتيرية؛ صوّرت خمسة منها إسرائيل بصورة سلبية، في حين صوّرت | ar |
| dc.description.abstractenglish | This study examines the role of political caricatures as powerful instruments that shape public perception and reveal the underlying ideological dimensions of the 2025 Iran–Israel conflict. It demonstrates the utility of an integrated cognitive semiotic approach to uncover meanings that transcend superficial interpretations. This study represents a new contribution as the first to investigate political cartoons depicting the 2025 Iran–Israel conflict and the first to apply a cognitive semiotic framework to this specific geopolitical event. The study aims to highlight how this dual approach reveals deep-seated meanings and ideological positions embedded within visual humor. Additionally, it analyzes the interaction between the visual and cognitive dimensions of the selected caricatures. Furthermore, the study explores how these cartoons construct representations of power dynamics, key actors, and actions, thereby influencing audience perception. A qualitative research design was utilized to analyze a purposive sample of 10 caricatures: five depicting Israel negatively and five depicting Iran negatively. The analytical framework relies on an eclectic model combining Kress and van Leeuwen’s (2006) visual grammar and Lakoff and Johnson’s (1980) Conceptual Metaphor Theory. The findings indicate that this integrated approach successfully uncovers how caricatures communicate concise yet powerful ideological messages. Moreover, the interaction of cognitive and visual elements allows abstract political concepts to materialize visually, guiding viewers toward specific interpretations. These visuals alter audience perception by illustrating shifting power dynamics, frequently portraying figures such as Benjamin Netanyahu, Donald Trump, and Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei as victims, aggressors, or dependents. | en |
